Just sneakin’ a vanity of sorts (useful I hope) into the News.
If you are voting in the center of town, bring air freshener for the hippies and homeless.
Oh, and I really like to thank the union thugs for all of the junk mail today reminding me of all of the DNC lawyers I can call if I cant vote.
Like that will come in handy...
Just glad I live in a tiny town. I’ll be in and out in under 10 minutes.
:’)
I’m going to try to get in right at 7:00, have to be to work at 8:00. Luckily I live a rural area. Lapeer county has more white tails than people.
If you would like to be added or dropped from the Michigan ping list, please freepmail me.
I voted absentee just outside Ann Arbor. I voted for McCain, Hoogendyk, Walberg, and other republicans until I got to the township race where I split my ticket for a couple of taxpayer endorsed local democrats and republicans alike. I’ll be poll watching tomorrow.
Don’t forget to vote for Cliff Taylor.
Please add me to your ping list. I live just north and west of Grand Rapids, outside of Sparta.
Thank you!!

I have a 7 pm report out of a very blue suburb, south of Detroit.
I voted first thing in the morning, tieing up one hour. This evening driving by at 7 pm, there was only 3-4 people in line and open voting booths.
Anyone else see a lower turnout than expected.
I got online here specifically to check for election updates. :’)
Good reminder about Cliff Taylor. What a terrible bunch of garbage has been peddled about him by the Demwits.
I got to the polling place before 7 AM, voted by 7:30 or so, was #49, but #149 must have been in line by the time I left. I even got to work in plenty of time (for a change). Voted straight Pubbie, voted for Cliff Taylor, skipped any of the non-partisan ballots where the number running matched the “not more than” number, and voted No on both proposals.
My husband and sons went after work and got to the polls between 6 and 7. They were also pretty much in and out in a little over 30 minutes.
Waiting anxiously now, with my laptop and my adult beverage of choice.

I tried to get in at 7:00 this morning before work, not a good idea. The place was packed. I didn’t know so many people lived in the township. Left early from work, I didn’t have to wait long.
