I guess they weighed the odds and figured out either way, Sarah Palin wasn’t someone to mess with; either as Vice President of the country or worse yet for them, coming back to Alaska as Governor with her thinking they might have cost her the election. AND, of course, the fact that she did nothing wrong!!!

Wow, I’m amazed that the AK Democrats actually allowed this to be released before the election — when I saw that they were going to release a report tonight I was sure it was going to be some crapola slamming her..... but the devil is in the details, maybe the content of the actual report does throw mud on her, as did the Branchflower report, even when he said that she broke no law etc.
By the way (and off topic), I watched "All the President's Men" last night on TCM. It was the first time I watched it since the Mark Felt revelation. It kind of had a different feeling to it when you realized that Felt (as Deep Throat) was engaging in his own personal revenge, and was violating more laws and ethics by leaking to the press than anything Nixon was accused of.
