You’re not alone. I’m going to pray, pray, pray and then get up and out first thing tomorrow morning to vote for LIBERTY.

Just hang onto what Sarah said: “Whatever happens on Nov. 4th will be God’s will.” That’s what I’m hanging onto. And my rifle and 500 rounds of ammo.

Same here. God is in control. My knees drop to the floor at 11:00PM.

Turn off the computer, television and radio. Sit down with a good book and give yourself a few hours without feeding your anxiety.

Whether hussein or the maverick wins, we’ll survive. Things may be hard for a while, but you’re not going to do yourself or anyone else any good by getting all torn up.

Four years from now it’s all going to happen again. Get used to it...

Consider this. What if the media is right all along and there will be an incredible D/R split?

I've been looking at old exit polls, and every time there's been a big move towards one candidate or another (Clinton, Reagan), that move always picks up Is... BIG TIME. But that's not present right now. Is are exactly evenly split right now.

I have access to Ras internals. Screw agreement -- I will tell you that Ras very, very heavily sauces the state polls, same or more as his nationals.

Yesterday's Ras PA poll had McCain leading independents by 13%. In 2004, Kerry led Is in PA by 17%.

In fact...

Rasmussen has McCain leading independents in EVERY SINGLE STATE POLL except CO and VA, and even then, Obama leads the Is by a very small margin.

This is incredible considering: If we accept on face value that independents tend to break big for a candidate that breaks big nationally (which is backed up by history), then either a massive number of Independents are lying to the pollsters about voting for Obama, or the pollsters' D/R/I turnout models are horribly wrong. What do you think is more likely?

DO WE REALLY HAVE A CHANCE?

I'm not worried.

Win or lose, we can win.

We have a very good chance of winning, especially in the electoral college side of the election.

However, even if we lose, I still look at it optimistically.

If Obama wins, and the democrats retain or increase their majorites in the senate and in the house, we can come back big time in the next 2 to 4 years.

With Obama in there, and with the democrats to aid him in all of the failures to come, they won't be able to blame anything on the republicans. Whatever goes wrong will be the sole responsibility of the democrats. When things go wrong, the party in power always suffers in the next round of elections. That's what happened in 1994 and in 1980 when republicans took control from the democrats, who were having disastrous years in running things.

In 2010, republicans stand a good chance of gaining seats after the expected failures of their plans. And, 2 years later, with the economy still suffering and the U.S. not being able to meet challenges overseas, Obama will be easily replaced by whoever is the republican candidate. Look for Obama to be as disastrous to the country, if not more, than Carter was in just one term. In fact, a few short months after his election, Americans will be having some major second-thoughts about what they've done, and many will actually be asking for Obama's resignation.

But, the 2008 election is still to come, and we have a good chance. If it's not our year, 2012 will definitely be a whole lot better.

If Obama wins tomorrow, we just have to figure out a way to survive until 2010 or 2012.

You need to spend a couple of hours volunteering at your local headquarters.

By the way, it’s National Republican Clean Your Guns Day.

Don't know it you've ever heard of the texasdarlin blog. I was just there and read an excellent article called “The Marston Prediction.” If you want to put a smile on your face I suggest you pop over to www.texasdarlin.wordpress.com and read the article.
Mr. Marston is predicting a McCain VICTORY.

> I will hit my knees at 9:00 p.m. and pray to our God that we don’t get what we really deserve.

I am reminded of the difference between grace and mercy:

grace - when we get something that we really don’t deserve

mercy - when we don’t get something that we really do deserve.

Time will tell what the Lord has in store for us. And if that happens to be an Obama presidency, just take it like a Christian.

Wait, let me get this straight. Are you telling us that McCain leads Obama with Independents in every single state except CO and VA? If so, uh, wow.

And for CO, Obama having even a small lead would not concern me. In 2004, Kerry won the Independents in CO by 52-45.

In VA, Bush won the Independents by 54-44, representing about 83,000 votes (he won the state by 262,000 votes). A small lead for Obama among Independents might reduce his overall margin of defeat, but not by nearly enough to make the state genuinely competitive. He might lose by 4-5 points instead of 8 points, but that’s about as close as he might get.

Hmmmm...I’m much more optimistic of a McCain win tomorrow but much more pessimestic of what a Barck Hussein Obama “presidency” would be like.

If that little bitch wins somehow tomorrow, might as well say goodbye to this forum - the evil axis of Pelosi/Obama/Reid will render the GOP obsolete - there will be no ashes to rise up from thanks to these communists.

Already volunteered this week and will be driving people to the polls tomorrow. My 16 year old son went door to door this morning for 3 hours. I’ve already voted and I’m hanging onto my faith!
