What I can’t figure out is why it took them so long to publish a youtube of Obama saying this months ago. This would have given McCain 30 points up on him a month ago but, now, no one is paying any attention to this 11th hour input. How sad.

The level of ignorance (not a perjorative term mind you) out there in the popular culture has long reached super-scary levels. And it just gets better!

“I think we should use more electricity” <-— actual answer by our “man on the street” when questioned about domestic energy policy. People just think the stuff comes out of the wall outlet all by itself.

Something like half of all electric power generated in the US is from coal. Just as vital, it is reasonably priced, easy to produce and doesn’t need to be imported. The whole global warming, C02 nonsense foisted is just way too convenient in my estimation. It’s just one big con, and baby, it’s cold outside!
