Sorry if this was posted already, but the coal people are reacting to Obama's anti-coal statements. Any idea if the OCA typically votes democrat? seems like it might.... but not this time

I never believed OH was in any danger of going to 0bama. His only hope was the chicanery of the ACORN machine. This will clinch it for McCain. It also puts him that much closer to bagging PA and checkmating 0bama.

Obama is a fool. Coal is an abundant energy resource that we have in huge quantities here. We’ve got coal like the Saudis have oil (probably even moreso than that). We’ve got enormous coal reserves in PA, OH, WV, and KY. We should convert our electricity production to nuclear, and use coal-to-liquid processes to make fuel for transportation. But none of that is going to happen is the Zero wins.

I had heard the president of the United Mine Workers recently endorsed Obambi. I wondering if he’s rethinking that endorsement?

"Few policy areas are more important to our economic future than energy issues. As voters head to the polls tomorrow, it is essential they remember that access to reliable, affordable, domestic energy supplies is essential to economic growth and stability. If a particular party wished to throw a monkey wrench in the economy, for whatever reason , what better way than to just prohibit the use of coal. Biden said it himself, so what is their real motive? Who would benefit from such a policy?
