On more than one occasion, I’d like to add. I saw a youtube video where it happened at least twice when he was talking about HRC.
Bottom line is the guy’s a punk. It’s just too bad the sheeple don’t see it the way it really is (THANKS MSM!!!).
Rush reported that this gesture was done during his backhanded congratulation of McCain on his hard-fought campaign. I don’t know if his gesture to Hillary was done while he was talking about her or not.

He was not giving McCain the finger. He wiped the corners of his mouth three times with three digits. I always use my middle finger to push up my glasses. It’s a habit.
This kind of crap is not going to help us at the finish line.

I don’t like him any more than you do. I just don’t think he was flipping McCain off at all. He used his forefinger first, then thumb, then middle finger. I can completely believe that he was simply wiping the corners of his mouth.
There is more than enough plausible deniability here. I think pushing this is a bad idea is all.

Not me. I’m one of the few here that have been saying for quite awhile that I don’t think there’s any way the American people will put OVomit in office.
However, if Ovomit made that gesture and didn’t realize what he was doing, then I guess he can’t multi-task as well as he wants us to believe.
If Obama regularly uses his middle finger for facial hygiene unintentionally, then he’s an idiot who doesn’t know what the hell he is doing; or it’s hidden agression, or he’s doing it consciously.
I would never use my middle finger like that without being aware of it, especially in a VERY public situation while being on camera! Come on!
At a Hillary supporter site there's links to a couple of videos where he gave the same speech in two different cities and each time he mentioned HRC by name, he did the middle finger rub. Each time, the crowd roared with approval.
As tightly packaged as this guy is, once could be an accident. Twice is doubtful. The HRC backers were furious. No one in the media reported it, just bloggers. There were links on FR.
Do I think it's accidental? No.
Sophomoric? Yes.
Consequential? No.
I think the comments he made about bankrupting the coal industry and about how his carbon trading plan will cause electricity prices to "necessarily skyrocket" are far more substantive. Talking about Obama's baseness does nothing to help persuade Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Western coal producing states to vote against him. The prospect of economic devastation, plus 40 to 50 cents retail prices per kWh just might.
I felt that way from the beginning. Not so anymore.
