Why even bother posting on here? When I look up and down my street I see that the polls are lying and the American people feel insulted that the media is giving this guy the Presidency!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

McCain is going to win, despite the media’s efforts to ensure he doesn’t. Cancel all newspapers and magazines, and kill your TV.

Yeah....and how this country has come NOWHERE since the days of slavery.

Our government has enslaved the working class to buy votes from the nonworking class, so the politicians themselves can fulfill their own lust for power and privilege.

The Sub Prime mortgage mess might get turned into an insurance mess if the houses all burn tomorrow night....convenient timing no?

welcome newbie.....

I mostly agree with your sentiments....

"true" conservatives have failed us in the past.....

specifically in my state, where we have a liberal Senator thx to the libertarian "conservative" vote and we have a take over in the House and the Senate in Dc because all those "principled" conservatives decided to stay home.....

I respect anyone working for the betterment of our country but I don't respect one issue voters or voters who think of "me" first above the nation....

thank you to all Democrats working to defeat the abomination...

The Sub Prime mortgage mess

Yep. More proof the lefts Marxist housing plans will never work.

Instead, why not share the WORK and let the wealth redistribute itself? That way, the democrat base could buy their own houses without stealing their neighbors wages.

Well, I don’t know if you are a “stupid foreigner” but, clearly you don’t understand what either candidate represents. Since you don’t have a dog in this fight, sit back and watch. I have found that is the best way to learn.

In “normal” circumstanaces I would be willing to give a newbie that benefit of the doubt and say that some of the nuances of the language do not lend themselves to translation — but, these are not normal circumstances.

It’s pretty pathetic when Obama has to go overseas and outsource his internet smear campaign.

I live in a mostly Democrat area, so I can never go by that. If you had my neighbors, you'd know what I mean.

But I work in a mostly conservative line of work, and obviously most of my colleagues are going McCain.

Just talked to an immigrant lady from the former Soviet Union; she tells me that while many in that community normally vote Democrat, this year they are almost all uniformly voting for McCain.

If I had never seen the original, how would I know to search for it?

The neighborhood I moved into 6 years ago was nice, but low income housing got put in about 1 mile away. The thug/pit bull crowd moved in (not all pit bulls are bad, but the ones owned by thugs are). They brought nice things like muggings, break ins, and random gunfire into my area.

I’m taking my arsenal and emergecy food supply (two big tubs of weight gainers body building mix - it will keep you going for quite a while, if not happily), and I’m heading over to my family home. Dad’s a vet. We’re hunkdering down for the duration.

Paranoid? I really don’t think so. Better safe than sorry...

Here is what I do not understand: Hillary is currently on the campaign trail for BHO... So, How is it that the PUMA crowd is not also for Obama, since their own leader-idol has drunk the BHO kool-aid?

Just a friendly tip...ALWAYS copy and paste any potential thread you plan to post in the >Search< box on the FR forum page to see if the article has been posted by anyone prior to you. That way, you can prevent duplicate threads...;-)

Well that should be encouraging to you. I live in a part of Ohio that is very much like the entire country, split. I talked to a friend who called 300 people yesterday in the area, and he said 80% are voting Republican.

Even in Western PA where Blue spouts from every cut, McCain/Palin signs out number Obama signs 4 to 1, no joke!!!

I come here to be encouraged, everywhere else I go depresses me. That’s why I replied to your post.

I talked to a friend who called 300 people yesterday in the area, and he said 80% are voting Republican.

Now, thats encouraging.

My impression is that more Dems are crossing over by far than Republicans. A lot of older Dems will vote McCain, likewise a lot of blue-collar Dems, just as a cultural thing. Most of the sit-it-out Repubs have been convinced to vote. Most of the non-political evangelicals have been convinced to vote, and most of them will go McCain. McCain will do slightly better among jewish voters than Bush did last time.

Obama normally couldn't win except by motivating sit-at-home Dems to vote this time, and by convincing apolitical college age kids to vote. Thats the only way he can overcome the cross-over Dems.

He may do it, but I don't trust the press to tell us what is actually happening. In all the years I've been complaining about the press, this year is the worst I've ever seen it.
