I dont want to beat the demons of the left only to fall to the “demons of the right” What enemy are we fighting? What is it in communism that is so ugly? To me, it is its certainty, its godless humanism, its assertion that Man by his own efforts can make all things well. It is its aversion of personal responsibility and its subordination of the individual to a collective whole that sucks out all creativity and difference, that makes the vibrant color of Humanity and melds it into a dull shapeless gray. Communism is not the only political system that can do that.

there are extremes to 'the right' as well, but most are not likely to bother you if you dont bother them...live and let live, vs convert or die...BIG difference...
