PRIME Minister Kevin Rudd should launch an investigation into the leaking of details of a sensitive phone call he had with US President George W Bush, former foreign minister Alexander Downer says.
Details of the call to discuss the global financial crisis were reported last week in The Weekend Australian.
During the call, Mr Bush reportedly responded to Mr Rudd's suggestion of a G20 summit to deal with the crisis by saying: "What's the G20?''.
US officials and Mr Rudd's office have since denied Mr Bush made any such remark.

Mr Downer said he expected Democrat Barack Obama to easily win Tuesday’s US election.
I would say to Mr Rudd, by the way in your private conversations with President Obama, be discreet,’’ he said.

I agree, President Bush was probably joking. If he wasn’t, maybe what the G20 is slipped his mind or maybe one of his aides didn’t brief him properly. It’s not the fault of President Bush. It’s the fault of the Aussies because they allowed the leaking of a private call.
Good question, who/what is the G20?
That doesn't bother me .... BUT
Bush: "What's a veto pen?"
Bush: "What's overwhelming military force?
Bush: "What's liaise fare economics?"
Bush: "What immigration crisis?"
Bush: "What incompetent Cabinet officers?"
Bush: "What's acorn?"
DOES!
