“More rain, more GOP votes, right?”

Certainly not. But less DEM votes - yes.

Is Durham-NC GOP or DEM leaning?

Durham is a liberal and Democrat town.

When Hillary outperformed the polls in New Hampshire by +11%, it was an unseasonably fine, warm, sunny day. Seniors came out in droves for Clinton. Many of them will indeed jump ship for McCain.

Durham is very DEM leaning. You could say it is North Carolinas Detroit or Cleveland. The voter fraud goes way back to Jesse Helms days.

“In Philadelphia, if it rains FIRE, Obama will still carry the city by 110%, without any of the trouble of anybody actually going to the polls.”

lol

I am a little afraid that it will rain brimstone pretty much everywhere on November 5th if Obama wins...

Everywhere you find a level 1 trauma center you will find a district around it that votes solidly blue. Major hospital surrounded by high crime area is almost the definition of the knife and gun club.
