Certainly not. But less DEM votes - yes.
Is Durham-NC GOP or DEM leaning?
Durham is a liberal and Democrat town.
When Hillary outperformed the polls in New Hampshire by +11%, it was an unseasonably fine, warm, sunny day. Seniors came out in droves for Clinton. Many of them will indeed jump ship for McCain.

I am a little afraid that it will rain brimstone pretty much everywhere on November 5th if Obama wins...
Everywhere you find a level 1 trauma center you will find a district around it that votes solidly blue. Major hospital surrounded by high crime area is almost the definition of the knife and gun club.
