I had heard Palin will fly back to Alaska to vote. I hope not (absentee works).

One last stop here on Monday. If CO was lost, the McCain-Palin ticket wouldn't have bothered showing up. Take THAT, Rich Lowry!

Almost everyone at NRO has been defeatist and demur; no backbones whatsoever.

Email Lowry when McCain wins Colorado and point out his error. Will he eat crow?

OBama has been up in most polls but most have assumed inappropriate Dem turnout models (Republicans outnubmer democrats in registrations) and have probably oversampled liberal Denver (Where you have greater liberal republicans).

It’s going to be close. Obama will definitely not win by +5 or more though.

Does anybody know the final numbers of absentee and early votes (R + D + I) in Colorado and Nevada?

Grand Junction is the largest city in the coal areas of Colorado.

They need to bring up the Obama anti-coal tape there, too!

In another clip from the same January 2008 interview with the San Francisco Chronicle in which Barack Obama promised to bankrupt anyone foolish enough to build coal-burning power plants, he also made an interesting admission about his entire energy plan.

Obama told the editors that his policies would make energy prices “skyrocket”

This is done by county so there isn’t a total yet. Keep in mind, Democrats had such a large voter registration effort that it skews a lot of things for stats.

Statewide, the registration numbers are about a third for each but I think it’s still Republican/Unaffiliated/Democrat in that order.

For Denver right now:
Registered Voters - 415,533
Democrat - 201,757
Unaffiliated - 138,499
Republican - 71,816
American Constitution - 251
Green - 1,391
Libertarian - 1,773
Unity Party of America - 46

Mail-in Ballots mailed out - 196,466
Mail-in ballots sent back by mail - 69,280
Total mail-in ballots received back - 139,611

And Nevada as well. With the PA developments and that new tape where Obama essentially wants to repeal the industrial revolution and kill the coal industry, this thing is starting to come together very nicely.

I would have to say showing up there could very well be good news for McCain. I don’t think they would go there if they were truly giving up. It could be a head fake, but you don’t do that the day of the election!

You do it the week before at the latest.

Rich should resign his position at the National Review. Rich Lowry has jumped the shark.
