It depends on how they define “toss-up” - If they don’t define Pennsylvania and Virginia as toss-ups (which some media hasn’t) and just hand it off to 0bama, then I guess he doesn’t have a chance. McCain has to win one of the two and probably needs both.

Well, according to the
WSJ electoral map, that is false. I get a 279-259 win for McCain in this scenario. I'm guessing he's thinking OH is wrapped up?
Even if that is true, all signs seem to point that PA (which is consistently mapped as solid blue) is still very much up for grabs. Flip-flop those two and it's still 280-258 for McCain.
Not sure who Chuck Todd is or what he does, but I'm guessing he's not a mathematician.

I just watched it. Todd was actually pretty fair. Brokaw on the other hand...
“Why is John mcCain spending so much time in PA and NH?” said Brokaw.
Todd explained it well.
