Absolutely. Leftist totalitarians and authoritarians need to construct their own security force because the military traditionally fights on behalf of the country. The leftist fights for his party and ideology. That’s why they need their own Brownshirts. Remember that the people who fought Hitler the hardest inside the Reich were the military. Stalin killed all the officers. It would not surprise me to see Obama succeeded by a Pinochet.

And you’re right about the left needing its own loyal security force. I can’t say that every nation’s military answers to a higher calling, but I’m pretty sure most of our troops wouldn’t put up with being Obama’s homefront bully boys.
