I’m sorry that more wasn’t made of this earlier. It should have been hit hard at the debates, when Obama and Biden claimed that they favored coal and nuclear.

Yes, as one comments says, McCain favored global warming and cap-and-trade as recently as last spring. But I THINK he has wised up, especially when he found how popular “Drill now” is.

But Obama will CERTAINLY do this—not only to appeal to his moonbat base, but because he WANTS to wreck the economy and make us dependent on Arabs and Marxists. That’s the whole point.

But as between the two one has increasingly come to realize what needs to be done and the other would go completely in the wrong direction. It's like when he flew his trainer into Corpus Christi Bay and then realized that he had not bothered to learn the manual's part on releasing the cockpit cover and ejecting but he figured it out and made it out. what we need to do now is drive the price of oil and particularly gasoline down and keep it there until the regime in Iran is forced to change by the Iranian people and the same happens in Venezuela and the Saudi Wahabbi lose their position as the center of gravity of the Sunni world even as Iraq is forced to thrive through a non-one-crop economy. See THE WILL TO WIN THE WAR INCLUDES THE ECONOMY

The San Fran Chronicle left it out of their original story, that is why it is just coming out today when 39% of the voters have voted already. Send to everyone you know and concentrate on getting it to all your local news stations.

McCain is stuck with the GW buy-in. The GOP announced it as part of their platform this past summer, so it won’t be going away. All he can do is tactfully avoid it when speaking before (and requesting the vote of) those who have not drunk the Eco-Marxist koolaid of man-made GW. I’ve read a few well-reasoned denunciations of the concept. It really is a shame that the GOP accepted the premise and then went along with the ‘need for change.’ As Bjorn Lomborg points out, because of free markets, the world is a cleaner, less polluted place. This should be the approach of the GOP (IMHO).

seriously, why would obama want to make us dependant on the arabs? I think we all agree on premise, but lets keep things in perspective. wild claims only hurt our cause and credibility. we need to convince people, not just insult obama (fun as it may be).
