I'm afraid it will be far worse than 100% more. We're looking at price multiples. In addition, we're not adding enough capacity to keep up with demand and the global warming zealots want to shut down reliable base load production, like coal, and replace it with cost prohibitive, sporadic renewable power like solar and wind. Expect lots of brown outs and black outs in the coming years if Obama wins and turns us into a third word country.
