True. In fact, the ascension of every Marxist (and its bastard child, fascist) leader sees the creation of what political scientists call a “parallel organization” to the police and the military. The Marxists need this kind of Praetorian Guard in case the military or police decide that their allegience is to the country, not the leader or the ideology. Think “Brownshirts” whenever Obama or an Obamaniac mentions the “civilian security force.” Remember that the German military tried to kill Hitler. Remember how Stalin eliminated all the officers in the military. What the authoritarian leader needs is his own personal squad of thugs.
