Starting on Monday I will begin a fast that will not end until Wednesday. I will be praying that God’s will be done - not that McCain be elected. We are a nation that has turned its back on God, why would God not discipline us? I hope McCain wins but we might need to go through some very hard times to appreciate Gods mercy and bounty to America, which is what we had when this country was founded.
He was prepared to save Sodom and Gomorah for the sake of fifty. I believe, and am petitoning Him with all my heart that He preserve America for the sake of tens of millions.
Who knows that He will not? I know He can, and pray He will, but am prepared in all things to accept His will and keep on working whatever the outcome, patiently waiting for His arm to be revealed.
We are on the verge of overturning Roe v. Wade in this nation. A,long hard struggle that many of us have waged for 35+ years. I pray and seek God's aid in keeping that from happening and in stopping that slaughter for His sake. Perhaps He shall hear and honor our prayers of humilty and faith.
