In Bush, Loyalists See a Good and Steadfast Man Who Has Gotten a Bad Rap

On a cold, gray morning a week before Election Day, President Bush briefly emerged from the White House for an unannounced visit to the headquarters of the Republican National Committee in Southeast Washington.
Outside the RNC building, Bush continued to face record-low approval ratings and a presidential campaign focused on his failings. But inside an overflowing conference room, he was greeted with roaring applause as he urged his fellow Republicans to keep pushing for the finish line.
"His general message was to thank the staff for everything we've been doing and encourage us to keep working hard all the way through Election Day," said one person who attended the closed event. "It was upbeat and very exciting."
Even for a declared optimist, Bush has appeared remarkably sanguine in this season of discontent. The economy is melting down, his own party has shunned him, and Tuesday's election is shaping up as a searing rebuke to his eight years in office.

President Bush doesn’t need any apologists, he has not done anything to be apologetic for. Indeed, he is one of the greatest men in world history. I am proud to admire George Bush and have the wisdom to understand that President Bush did not desert us, it was cowards and fools who deserted President Bush.

Me three. As Fouad Ajami stated, he ‘drew the line’ in the Middle East, which I think many people are taking for granted. He also drew the line with stem cell research and was vindicated very quickly.

Democrats and their media propaganda arm have been following the National Socialist (Nazi) playbook to the letter. They have demonized Bush for the sole purpose of using him as a scapegoat to try to steal elections and take control of America. Across the country their sole message has been that all Republicans are “Bush” after their International Socialist (InterNazi) media propaganda arm has helped them engage in their Nazi-style propaganda campaign. Just like they blamed the Jews for the burning of the Reichstag, they are blaming Bush and Republicans for their torching of the economy.
The list goes on and on. THE DEMOCRATS ARE FOLLOWING THE NAZI PLAYBOOK TO THE LETTER AND WE ARE WATCHING THE MEDIA PROPAGANDA ARM PARTICIPATE IN THEIR NAZI PROPAGANDA WITH THEM!
GWB is a decent and good man. While I have disagreed with him on several important things, I appreciate him and have prayed for him almost every day. I hope he and Laura enjoy a well deserved retirement from public office. May God bless him.

6. US Weekly, a reasonable weekly magazine just released an article where they review "Barak Obama" and it is clear that they are scared. Their eyes were finally opened when the followed him on the campaign trail in South Carolina. They saw his race-baiting, white hating rants and insanity for the first time. They saw all of "Jeremiah Wright" and the "I Hate Amerca" side of Barak Hussein Obama come through that he has so completely lied to the public about and they have documented it. Now, they have also loaded their magazine with a LOT more information that shows you just how completely perverse and sick the "main stream" media outlets of ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, and CNN have become in trying to hide the real man who presents the biggest risk to America and the world since the Civil War. He’s a good man. But I wish he wouldn’t have allowed the MSM and his opponents to define him for the last few years. He should have fired back at them in the way other administrations did while under fire. This mistake of his might cost us quite a bit.
But I still admire him and wish him all the best. He kept us safe for seven years. For that alone, he deserves the greatest admiration and thanks from his countrymen.

I didn’t want to dwell too much on the past. I just have a little trouble with the whole idea of a ‘Conservative’ telling us that the only way to fix something is to nationalize it....just me though.
So, yeah, aside from a couple of the largest expansions of government in history, GWB is outstanding.
Bush is a good man that served as the human sacrifice for the 8 year temper tantrum over Florida 2000 and what the media/left claimed as “selected” over “elected”.
The media systematically defiled Bush, undermined his efforts for unity—even in times of national security threat—made no difference, the media and the left are dangerously immature, corrupt, blood thirsty ideologues...not a whiff of objectivity.
So they set out to destroy this good man-—were he to discover the cure for cancer—it would have made no difference, he was their red meat when they did not get their way.

He is a good man but he’s not a conservative. This good man completely ruined the Republican party from the inside out. Compassionate conservative is the equivalent of free spending big gov liberalism. And I fell for it. And now with McCain vs Obama, we are now stuck with lesser of two evils. One can only hope that Rino McCain does stick to limiting gov as he says should he get elected. BIG IF.
