I also think other groups that the Dims and the DBM assume are on board but aren't, such as women and Hispanics. I expect / count on a huge "Sarah" effect. I don't think the media can see it, because they live in an isolated, insulated environment just like the politicians they cover.

Absolutely Bernard! There is and will be a huge Sarah Palin effect,in essence she brought McCain back from the dead and he knows it.
