NASCAR fans? I didn’t realize that this was a key voter demographic.

Do you really believe that the electoratein the real world will swing from 48-47 McCain to 52-42 Obama in 24 hours? If this does not convince you how insane and unscientific polling is then nothing else will.
I really feel bad for all the people on this forum who are so obsessed with the polls. It is a case study of how some people psychology can be totally enslaved and controlled by the media and their polls. Very sad indeed.

Just read on a PUMA board:
Today at the campaign HQ here, Chuck Heath (Sarah Palin's brother) notified us that we are tied in PA and down by only 1 in OH.

No big deal.
McCain’s numbers always go down on the weekend.

Hmmm. Methinks that Zogby has received the ‘no more access’ call from the 0bama truth squad. I have read that many think the Republican writers (Noonan, Park, etc.)are sucking up to the 0bama campaign so they will still get invited to the DC parties. Immature people in DC are a dime a dozen.

21% of Conservatives do not support Obama.
In fact, I have not met a single Conservative or Republican that supports Obama here in NC.
I think the order in which the questions are asked tends to put the “who are you voting for?” ahead of the “describe your political leanings?”.
Either Operation Chaos is working in the POTUS question but honesty emerges in later questions, OR, Democrats are gaming the “leanings” question.
