How about if Obama replaces the people with the US nukes with a few thousand of his people ? He has the nuclear codes and announces that the US will have to follow his orders or be anihilated. Would the US citizens fight or would they rather be destroyed ?
He might make a demostration by nuking your town and then seeing if anyone else wants to disobey. It would be like dropping a couple of nukes on Japan and then giving them an ultimatum to surrender in ww2. As tough as the japanese were, they surrendered.
