The MSM has no idea what's coming. Stay tuned...

Yep, that Saturday Night Live with Palin was probably the most accurate poll taken lately

The MSM has no idea what's coming.

I agree.

I have an antecdote to share.

In the nineties, I worked with the most flaming liberal imaginable. He spent countless hours defending Clinton, and worse, we were at polar opposites on social issues. This guy was the poster child of everything I opposed on the left.

I left that job in '98. I probably hadn't even thought of that guy I used to argue with since then.

But a few weeks ago in Pueblo, at a McCain town-hall event, I saw him again. I was watching the local channel's broadcast of the event, and the last person McCain handed the mike to was my political combatant from a decade ago. The reason McCain handed him the mike to say something, was because he was wearing a t-shirt that said "Democrats for Mccain". I think I recall him thanking McCain for his service and promising his support, and that was the end of the exchange.

I was shocked, to say the least, after I processed who that guy was. But the point of the story is that that guy represents what I think is going to happen on Nov. 4th. Obama is going to be rejected. Even those closest in ideology are going to be repulsed by a lot of what Obama represents.

Yes the MSM is totally clueless about Palin, about Obama, about Joe the Plumber. But those names really represent something to people, especially like me that lives in a swing state. I haven't voted for a republican ticket since '96. I am the typical third party voter, that has been indignant over the party's direction the last ten years. But this time I voted for McCain because my vote might count in a close election, and Obama is unacceptable.

This is why I think McCain will win. He is going to end up with support from opposite ends of the political spectrum.....all because they agree that Obama is unacceptable for a variety of reasons.

And the base is coming out, as evidenced by the turnout of early voters in Co. Springs. Obama's going down.
