Ah, I got ya now. But what good does it do to keep our talking points up to the minute when the response seems to take days to get out via television programs?
That BS about IRI was out, IIRC, for a couple of days before any kind of response was made. When I first heard it I started looking into it and in a matter of minutes after the "issue" came up I knew what the score was and kept waiting vainly for a response. I know there is a need to verify things, but c'mon! These folks move as slow as molasses in winter!
While it can now be shown to be the BS that it is it doesn't seem like it should take days to get up to steam on an issue.
Perhaps I just don't get it and am expecting too much.

Although generally a factual article, it doesn't appear to serve the purpose stated in the title. The paragraph starts with an accusation of layers of lies. It goes on to present some facts, but where are the lies? Why is ACORN being started by a domestic terrorist even mentioned? It makes it sound more like layers of innuendo.

I think we can do a lot better than this article in pointing out the leftist qualities of Obama. I would start by getting rid of the title and presenting the facts as facts, not pretending that they are somehow related to "lies" by the Obama campaign.

Alan Colmes is just a drab little DNC point man on a major TV political show that is dominated by the politically conservative Sean Hannity. His job is to provide 'balance'. Since defending leftist policies and shibboleths is practically impossible, Colme's response to every charge against Obama and/or his anti-American affiliations is to dig up some trivial thing John McCain (or some prominent Republican) said or did at some point in time that Colmes can use as a rebuttal ("but McCain did THIS!") without having to actually deny the fact of the charge against Barack Hussein Obama. It gets real old, real fast and fools no one.

I did not see the Woolsey segment Friday night, but I heard Colmes sandbag Hannity and John Kasich with this smear on Thursday night, and when Hannity or Kasich did not respond directly to it, I looked it up, found the IRI press release and emailed it Hannity and Fox News late Thursday night. It looks like they got Woolsey on Friday night to respond to it.

I'm stunned this was written a year ago. It might have been ignored because you were waaaaay ahead of the rest of us. Also, the "layered lie" concept is brilliant because when read it is - at one and the same time - a "surprise" - something never seen in that light - and "obvious" once explained. Like when someone invents something so useful everyone says, "why didn't I think of that"?
