Thanks for the thought, but there is no need for sorrow. Ed lived a full and happy life largely thanks to the great care of his brother. He was in his Sixties-far past the normal mortality of +-40, which was the norm for Down’s syndrome at the time of his birth.* He was the youngest of six brothers and the first to pass on.
If you have any thoughts to spare, please give some instead to his brothers Silvio and Alberto who were the closest to him and I know will miss him very much.
*Down’s Syndrome children suffer from, among other things, enlarged hearts and weakened skeletal structures. Thus, their long-term life prospects are restricted.
I will keep his brothers in my prayers.
