Maybe they are afraid of what that might portend for us if Obama loses. I mean, we've already got Erica Jong, in Paris, predicting that “blood will run in the streets” and “it'll be another Civil War”, if Obama loses. Perhaps they're willing to accept the blame if Obama loses, but not for the Civil War that could ensue as a result of that loss.
