No, it would be a breach of privacy if this official of the State of Hawaii did not (a) have jurisdiction over the records in question or (b) disclosed the contents of said records. She is within her statutory authority to view the record, but would violate the uthority entrusted in her by disclosing it.

have personally seen and verified that the Hawai’i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.”
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

The director does NOT state that Obama was born in Hawaii.

The director is merely stating that some form of birth certificate exists. Personally, I would like to see exactly what that “birth certificate” says.

It would have been a simple matter for Obama to provide an official birth certificate to the Pennsylvania court. That he appealed this order is HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS!!!

We adopted a baby girl from S. Korea 22 years ago. After she became an American citizen, we applied to the state of TX to get her a birth certificate as we were told to do by the adoption agency. It is an American birth certificate that says she was born in S. Korea.

>>>I still believe if the state of Hawaii verified that he was born there it’s a settled issue...

I didn’t see the wording of the state of Hawaii verifying he was born there. I saw the state of Hawaii verifying that the original certificate was on file.

If Obama really wanted to fix his birth records in Hawaii, he wouldn’t have to do it personally. The smart thing to do would have been to have someone with a lower profile go there and take care of business while he was conspicuously far away. Say what you will about him, but he’s not stupid.

>>>Obama will probably regret to his dying day his run for the White House — because the matter of his birth, the matter of his mother, etc., will haunt him forever.

I see a part two coming from “Dreams of My Father”. Stay tuned for “Nightmares of My Mother”.

Not as defined in statutes or administrative code of Hawaii. You would not be able to obtain a copy of my birth certificate for very good reason. That reason also applies in the case of the Obama. There is enough to run him into the ground about regarding policy and that is what we should be emphasizing.

His Obamabots worship every blade of grass that bend under his feet. But there are still some undecided voters out there and they will just tune you out if you start the debate against Obama with doubts about his birth place. Start with his economic policies, his associates, his stand on abortion, his foreign policy. Any sensible person would have the hackles raised by any of these.

I think the man is a fraud. He did not rise to power on his own merit. And the real power(s) behind his rise do not and never had a good intention towards this country.

Imagine if Hitler was required to show his birth certificate before he obtained office. All those lives that would have been saved. See, he wasn’t a German citizen either. He was born in Austria and had forged documents. He was not eligible either.

Some learn from history.

You are correct.
The following bullet point, see line number 10, is stated in the web page Titled - Who is Eligible to Apply for Certified Copies of Vital Records; a person who's right to obtain a copy of the record is established by an order of a court of competent jurisdiction; One needs to review the entire Department of Health web pages.

At one point early on in its Statehood, Hawaii allowed for a Certification of Live Birth document to be recorded well after the birth of a foreign born individual. That is a person not born in Hawaii. In 1960, according to the US census, well over a third of Hawaii residents were of Asian origin/ancestry. At that time there were many individuals who lived in Hawaii who were not born in the US let alone in Hawaii. Whites - Caucasian (Haole) were less than a third of the Population. Also something like less than 5000 blacks (at that time the description was Negro). Maybe even less. The birth of a mixed black/white child would have been a notable event. Hawaii was less than half the size it is today. Some one should ask the current DOH Director Chiyome Fukino what the Certification of Live Birth document in 1961 looks like in both size and types of information. A COLB document created for a person born in Hawaii 1961 should has at least five signatures (Doctors, etc) on it plus hospital location, etc. etc. A genuine copy, at that time, would be a black background document with white lettering. (A photo negative format.) The coping of documents in 1961 was a very different technology. The Director of Health in 1961 was most likely Leo Bernstein, MD and the Registrar General might have been Charles G. Bennett. Those questions should not be as classified personnel and private.

As provided by law (HRS §§338-17.7, 338-20.5), the following persons may apply for an amended certificate of birth:

A person born in the State of Hawaii who already has a birth certificate filed with the Department of Health and previously recorded information in relation to the person’s surname and/or the father’s personal particulars has been altered pursuant to law.

Who is Eligible to Apply for an Amendment? An original entry on a birth, death, marriage, or divorce certificate may be amended by either the private request of an individual or an order of a court of competent jurisdiction. An amendment includes changes, corrections, additions, deletions, or substitutions. How to Apply for an Amendment: An amendment may be made upon application, but only with the submission of required documentary evidence in support of the amendment. The evidentiary requirements can differ, depending on whether the amendment is court-ordered or, if requested by an individual, whether it materially affects the validity and integrity of the record. In most cases, a fee of $3 is charged for each request for amendment of an item or group of items on a given certificate. When information originally entered on a certificate is amended:, 1) a line is drawn through the incorrect entry and the correct data is inserted, 2) what information was amended and on what authority, the date of the action and the initials of the reviewer are entered on the certificate, and 3) the notation “altered” is written or stamped on the certificate.Once an amendment of an item is made, that item will not be amended again without a court order or, if a person’s name is to be changed, without a change of name decree.

Hmmmm. Maybe Grandma finally decided to go along with helping Barry amend his Birth Cert. He probably needed her to sign an affidavit before she died...his only chance to phony up his Birth Cert. He has probably been pestering her to do this for a long time and she has declined until now. There is obviously something on the BC that he does not want the public to see.

Thanks. I understand the sentiment that it isn’t worth it because it isn’t going to go anywhere, not now...four days before the election.

That said...I would find the irony just...umm...delicious if he were forced off the ballot, given how he has won most of his electoral battles prior to this presidential race.

It would be sublime. Won’t happen, but nice to consider. But I will be equally happy to see him defeated on the basis of his associations, racism, anti-Americanism, socialism and Marxism.

I also wonder what he was doing in Pakistan during his time at Occidental and perhaps the 1990’s. What kind of passport did he use? Seems like something the McCain opposition research team should have picked up on, along with the BC issue and many other strange Obama mysteries that they have ignored. Instead, here we are still trying to find out exactly who this man is.....and it looks like we will get no answers.
