At every rally, I invited everyone who served in the US military and Blue Star Moms on stage. I then sang “God Bless the USA” as a tribute to them and our active military. Such a tribute would rarely or never happen at an Obama rally.
The grand finale of each rally was me leading the crowd in the singing of “God Bless America”. Whenever I heard someone with a good voice, I would give them the microphone. Many in the audiences cried which made me cry. It was truly a wonderful life experience connecting and bonding with my fellow Americans. Many are extremely frightened of an Obama presidency. Folks also expressed great gratitude for our tour.
I am one of those very grateful Americans who appreciate what you and the others did touring the USA with your great message!
