Federal employees? Seems odd. But, don’t a lot of those live in northern Virginia?

He would take away our weapons, both those controlled by our military, as well as those owned by private citizens. In the extremely small amount of time he has been an elected official, he has taken more money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac than almost anyone else in Congress...."

I would imagine it is because they don’t need the work overload with the expansion of an Obama government. Plus.....lots more work and a lot less pay. Just a guess.

This is shocking: federal employees (N = 3531) responding to this magazine's poll prefer McCain to Obama 51-46. When I worked in DC 25 years ago, federal employees were, by and large, a very reliable voting bloc for Democrats.

Take a look at this October snippet from 2004:

Friends we have an impending shocking landslide on our hands for John McCain. If Federal employees are flipping for McCain after going so strong for Kerry in 04, what does that tell us about the national race. We are talking about a lot of DC crowd in this poll!
