Everyone has written-off Iowa. In fact, we've been very curious as to why McCain -- who opposes Ethanol subsidies -- has "wasted" his time there this year.
I'm on a conference call right now with McCain campaign manager Rick Davis. According to Davis, McCain's internal polling shows them "dead-even in Iowa." Davis says this is the reason Obama is headed there to campaign ...

Well, I’ve been hearing from the phone bank volunteers that, in fact, as of a week ago they had been directed to calling into IA and WI. Remember the McCain campaign manager’s comment that “these three states [WI, IA, MN] move as a group”? We’ve seen Coleman leap to a pretty safe lead, and it’s not likely he would be up huge over the top of the ticket.

Awesome...
Watch the stock market today...right now, up over 100, it’s saying that McCain is going to win.
See if it continues upward all day and closes strong.
There’s no way the big boys are going to go into the weekend long thinking that a communist is going to be elected next week.

Wouldn’t that be something? It didn’t appear to make sense for Mcain to be going to IA every week but now The One is going to a state where the MSM polls have him up 16 points?
McCain will be pleased people like me aren’t running his campaign.
