Contributions to McCains campaign went up 40% on the day he announced Sarah as his running mate.. I was one of the 40%!

I just had this discussion with a fellow worker.
He said McCain made a mistake with Palin (he doesn’t like her) and should have taken Romney.
I said Romney is just another moderate and having two moderates on the ticket wouldn’t have helped at all. Palin was the best thing that ever happened to McCain. Without Palin bringing the base back, McCain would have been down 30 points in the polls and would have been dead broke with a month to go.
Go Sarah, GO!
