And I bet a lot of those Democrats who are voting are PUMAs. They keep forgetting that Hillary won the Texas primary....

Is this a joke? Harris County is the most highly-populated black county in Texas. Half of New Orleans moved to Harris County after Katrina. Of course Harris County had a high Dem. turnout. That’s like saying Travis county is showing much higher Dem. turnout — I’ll bet there are only 7 Republicans in Travis to begin with. You hide and watch. They’ll tout Travis County next — forget Lubbock County in the north where 83% turnout has been Republican.

Not to worry, I'm one of those who voted in the dim primary ... as are several dozen of my friends.

I live in West Texas and I can promise you that there are tons of Obama signs in cards. However, we will go for McCain as a state. Houston, Austin, Dallas will go pretty strong for Obama and it will not be a landslide in Texas for either, but McCain will get TEXAS!

GO TEXAS TECH, BEAT U.T.

We voted on day 2 and there was no line; however, we were early and the news even that night was that turnout in the first 2 days was something like 300% higher than the previous record.

I live in Texas (an hour and a half from Houston) and I can tell you now, McCain will win Texas by 8-10 percentage points. Every Democrat I know who voted for Hillary in the Primary is voting for McCain. This week, a former Democratic County Chairman told me he has already voted for McCain.

Through Wednesday, turnout in Republican dominated counties was running about 40%, mixed counties about 30%, and Democrat dominated counties about 20%.
