Saudi Cleric Who Taught in U.S. On Al-Majd TV: 'Allah Be Praised, America Is Collapsing'; 'Will The West Acknowledge the Collapse of Capitalism[?]... They Have Begun to Adopt the Principles of Islamic Economy'; 'Either They [The U.S.] Were Accomplices In 9/11, Or Else They Carried It Out'
The following are excerpts from an interview with Saudi cleric Abd Al-'Aziz Fawzan Al-Fawzan, that aired on Al-Majd TV on October 7, 2008.
Sheikh Al-Fawzan is a professor of Islamic law at Imam Muhammad bin SaudUniversity in Saudi Arabia. In the past, he taught at the Institute of Islamic and Arabic Sciences in America (IIASA). [1] Sheikh Al-Fawzan speaks frequently on Saudi TV, has previously made anti-Christian statements (see http://www.memritv.org/clip_transcript/en/992.htm ) and has called on Iraqis to wage jihad.

"America is Collapsing, According to the Same Scenario of the Russian Collapse"
Abd Al-'Aziz Fawzan Al-Fawzan: "A few years ago, the Socialist Communist system ended in a devastating collapse, and it was followed by the Soviet republics one after another. Russia gave up its competition against American hegemony, and the United States became the unipolar leader ruling the world.
"Now, Allah be praised, America is collapsing, according to the same scenario of the Russian collapse.

"This tremendous economic power, which is unparalleled in history, was bound to collapse one day because it is based on injustice.

"Will the West acknowledge the collapse of capitalism? I am convinced that they will not. We are used to their obstinacy and arrogance. They always turn the facts upside down...
Interviewer: "But they will have to admit..."
Abd Al-‘Aziz Fawzan Al-Fawzan: "Now they have begun to adopt the principles of Islamic economy - only they do not call it "Islamic." The prohibition on short selling, the prohibition on the expanding and the selling of debts - this is Islam!" [...]
"These Criminals Want To Take Control Over The World, By Spreading Fear, Death, And Destruction"
"They committed crimes that only God knows of. Either they [the U.S] were accomplices in 9/11, or else they carried it out, even though they have deceived the world about this. They carried out many terror operations around the world, and the president of Yemen revealed two days ago that a terror cell that was captured was using Islamic slogans, but in fact belonged to Israeli intelligence.
"These criminals want to take control over the world, by spreading fear, death, and destruction, and at the same time, they give the impression that they are the victims. Because of 9/11, they killed millions of people, and if their skulls were placed one on top of the other, the pile would be higher than the WTC."

This cleric may be right, but he states the wrong reasons for this collapse.
For most of our country’s history, we have celebrated diversity in our population as if it were a good thing, but one look at world history will show you that no country with a diverse population of different races, languages, and religion has long survived.
Countries do not naturally form with a diverse population, and when in the past they have occurred, it has usually been as the result of armed conquest. These unnaturally formed countries have either melded together into a population made up of one mixed race with one language and one religion or they have come apart, and they have usually come apart with extreme violence. The longer these diverse populations are forced to coexist with one another without mixing and becoming one, the more the hatred grows among them and the more violently they break apart, but break apart they will.
What future do you now see for our country? Will we soon become one people made up of olive skinned, dark haired, Spanish speaking Muslims, or will we break up into three or four small (Balkanized) third-world countries that hate their neighboring country’s guts?
History only offers clues to the answer to this question, but history never gives answers.
you just go ahead and keep on believing all those things. i pray you are right. but alas my heart tells me you are wrong. this country has been on the path to hell for to many years now and it has finally caught up with us.
like i said i pray you are right but i do believe the writing is on the wall. what do i do? i continue to do what i can to keep my family safe from the idiots of the world. i continue to work hard to put food on the table and a roof over my little girls head.i continue to pray for the nonsense to stop that has taken over this country. but i think we all know that the USA that we all grew up in is long gone and will be near impossible to ever get back.

NO, it is unparalleled because it was based on justice for the individual. If it collapses it will be because it has abandoned that.
