Wasn't very many years ago that every schoolchild memorized the entire immortal Gettysburg Address. Those words still send chills down my spine.

We are in dire peril now and that government may indeed perish from the earth in our lifetimes.

We didn’t memorize the Gettysburg adress in Texas when I went to school.
