We have a natural desire for direction and to be led. That desire is there for us to seek God, but he has been replaced with BHO for a lot of people. I think it is because God has been taken out of everyday life and natural conversation among people so they do not know God is what they desire.

Some people have an abnormal desire to be led and controlled. These are the people who surrender themselves to cults and authoritarian political movements. The normal state is to retain freedom and dignity from that control.
