My son turned 18 this year so it is his first chance to vote. He told me his friends are voting Obama because of “the stuff he is going to give them”. How long can we last with an entire segment of society that votes to steal from those that produce?

If you look at Venezuela, and their conversion to communism, a country of presumed formerly intelligent people, takes about 2 years before everyone is in line for free gas and free mortgages.
Why work when the gas and mortgages are free.

How long can we last with an entire segment of society that votes to steal from those that produce? My question is how patient these kids are and what they'll do when their savior doesn't deliver "the stuff" in record time.
That could get ugly...sort of like a drug deal gone bad.

It’s very important that we seize this moment in history to TEACH our fellow citizens and our children what socialism actually is and how it leads to tyranny and then brutal murder.
About every 30-40 years, the siren call of socialism is heard again by the next generation. Without re-teaching the lessons of the past, of course they gravitate toward it.
