Actually I think that CWII could occur either way. If he wins and tries to rewrite the constitution he could well spark a conflict. Either way, like the first CW secession would not be allowed; that issue was settled in 1865.

I don't think those on the right of this conflict would want secession. Most that I talk to speak of ridding our country of those who would tear it down from within.
