Matt, your scenario absolutely would make my day. I am trying to decide now whether to go to a party downtown, or buy a small tv for my office so I can "blog" while watching these returns.

I absolutely agree that in some ways PA is the key. Sure, McCain can win without it---but my fear is that without PA, the networks are going to do is "call" VA early---it will be wrong, but the talk will immediately be that McCain can't win. This will be a deliberate effort to depress the vote in OH (not likely) or CO or NV. But if PA comes in, they can't "call" both of these early---THAT would be too obvious.

I think it gets worse. I think the networks will lie about the number in VA and PA; they will overstate 0 and understate McCain. Then, they will project both states, demoralizing R’s in all other time zones. Also, they will demoralize R poll watchers in PA and VA, so they will not be as vigilant in challenging ACORN fraud. ACORN gets to create enough “early ballots” for 0bama that those states “certify” 0bama the winner.

I’m in full tin-foil hat mode now. But many of my non-tin foil hat friends believe this will be a fraudulent election.
