Tom Finneran: Sen. Dianne Wilkerson is ok with me
Boston Herald ^ | 30 October 2008 | Jessica Heslam

WRKO radio host Tom Finneran - the disgraced, ex-speaker of the House - lost his cool again yesterday on his morning show, bellowing “bull (expletive)” while defending embattled state Sen. Dianne Wilkerson.

I’m not sure what’s worse - the profanity or defending Wilkerson.

Here

you have a convicted felon - with his very own radio show - defending an allegedly corrupt lawmaker on Beacon Hill.

Wilkerson was caught red-handed taking cash bribes - even stuffing $1,000 into her bra - just a stone’s throw from the State House, according to federal investigators.

The feds have charged her with taking money in exchange for influencing legislation and getting a liquor license for a proposed Roxbury club.

And as Finneran defended the scandal-plagued Wilkerson yesterday, co-host Wendy Murphy let him have it.

“The fact that you want to say ‘just cause somebody’s giving me money and I happened to help them with their special legislation doesn’t mean the money was a quid pro quo’ - you can say that all day long and I hope it helped you sleep nights,” Murphy said.

Finneran cut her off and shot back: “Don’t even get up to a line let alone cross a line on that bull (expletive). I’m dead serious.”

Finneran’s foul language didn’t make it onto the air, said program director Jason Wolfe, but it was heard loud and clear on the Internet, where listeners can tune into WRKO-AM (680) live.

“When you nail him he just gets angry and resorts to abusive language,” said savewrko.com blogger Brian Maloney . “Wendy went for his throat and he couldn’t take it because he’s trying to defend the indefensible

“The felon” defends another felon through the use of his potty mouth.

Only in MA, felon finneran defending a fellow felon, how appropriate. One of the felon finneran’s favorite sayings regarding hacks “he’s a good good guy”, keep in mind the person the felon is describing is usually a criminal and a state worker.

The rat party can’t distinguish between following or breaking the law anymore. Anarchy is their friend. They’ll do whatever it takes. Money stuffed in bras and freezers or papers stuffed in pants, it’s just the average workday of a Dem.

I left Massachusetts after college in ‘93.

Let’s see...

Gary Studds
Duvall Patrick
Ted Kennedy
John Kerry
Barney Frank
Ed Markey

These guys are CLOWNS and have been dangerous to the US for 40 years!

I was always so amazed how people were very traditional, but voted Liberal Democrats in office.

Great town, nutty politics (see Chicago, San Francisco)

wac3rd. I was at a wake last week and because he grew up in the same neighborhood, Ed Markey was there too. While in line, former Red Sox outfielder Dwight Evans came in. Markey bolts out of line and goes to his car to retrieve a baseball, which he then brought back in and asked Evans to sign.

You forgot Billy Bulger. Only in Mass could the Senate Majority leader also be the brother of the head of the Irish Mob.

An already convicted felon welcomes a soon-to-be convicted felon to the “siblinghood” (notice I didn't say “brotherhood”).Massachusetts RATS always stick together...unless they're vying for an open office.
