But the Obama “brother-can-you-spare-a-dime” approach was more than a bit too much. About ten minutes into the program I started receiving hate mail from my stomach, begging me to give it a break. Twenty minutes in, I was looking for something to settle it down – like pop rocks or hydrochloric acid.

LOL!!!!!!

I saved myself the aggravation of watching the Obama Ego Stroking Tour, and practiced my piano instead. I have no doubt it was every bit as bad as it was said to be here.

This “Pre-Inaugural Address” will figure large in the list of Blunders That Cost Obama The Election...

BTW, 18 Million Democrats voted for Hillary Clinton in the Primaries. Are they all racists?

Americans aren't struggling compared to years ago.
God forbid someone not have the newest TV with cable, or a new car every five years.
People in this country are SPOILED, and they think that if they are not living like an over indulged kid, they are some how “struggling.”
People have become so greedy and materialistic, and when they can't have everything they want and desire, they think their lives suck.
It's really a sham. I guess I'm cold hearted too.

The program itself was a technical laxative

A phrase that I never expected to see in print.

At the risk of a cold-hearted bastard label, let me assert (for the record) that I do not attack those who are genuinely having a hard time getting by. That isn't my point. To deny that there are Americans struggling is to deny reality. Indeed, there have always segments of the population who have struggled at any given time in this nation’s history. These days, I am among them, believe me.
I'm with ya there...and it's not the fault of 'W'...it's my own fault and the 'Chosen One' will only prolong the comeback.

Truly one long, bitter mope-fest. Mope You Can Believe In. The most derogatory kiss of spite to America in my lifetime. The Wellstoning of America. This is how the boss sounds the day before the pink slips are passed out. An exchange of bureaucratic platitudes in two hundred and thirteen foot high letters. An insipid, dolorous hologram of abnegation and defeatism.

LOL. This article hits the nail on the head on every point.

Anyone can cobble together some anecdotes from people who’ve been screwed out of their pension, are financially struggling because of medical problems, or facing foreclosure because they lost their job. But the Obama infomercial presented this as if it’s the norm - something that’s happening to all Americans. And it’s all Bush’s fault!

The last paragraph is dead on also. I’ve gotten the impression for months now that Obama really, seriously sees himself as some sort of messiah, and he’s having that notion reinforced by millions of starry eyed adherents.

Too bad Obama didn’t trot out his aunt in Boston or his brother in Kenya to show examples of how hard life is without help.

The ratings sucked. It ran up against absolutely nothing and he drew less than half of his convention speech viewers. The freefall begins.

What were the overnights on the Messiahs diatribe.

This reminds me of what Hugo Chavez and Castro do for their lemmings.

Give long diatribes on TV.

so I’ll just say it was somewhere between disturbing and an intestinal blockage.

Twenty minutes in, I was looking for something to settle it down – like pop rocks or hydrochloric acid.

I think I love you.
