Retired military can say anything they want about anything except for classified info. I don’t understand the thrust of this allegted effort by the Marxist Onada to muzzle retired military.

I’m not even sure it is a crime for a active duty person to provide analysis of military operations, units or equipment—unless it is classified. In fact, they do it all the time on national and international TV.

There is something missing with regard to this post or it is just plain bogus.

I’m retired US Army. Never signed anything that took away or limited my right to free speech while on Active Duty—excepting revealing or discussing classified info. However, it was generally understood that officer and NCO leaders were expected to be neutral with regard to politics. It is common sense, since an argument could be made that a leader could unfairly influence a soldiers beliefs or vote by bringing job pressure to bear.

I’m a little suspicious of this post.

USAF Gen. McInerny, Ret, (I think that’s his name), one of Foxe’s military analyists strikes me as one of the straightest arrows one could ever encounter in the military. If providing his services to Fox was in any way proscribed he would not be doing it.
