It's a deeply entrenched mindset and to many it's simply unthinkable, no matter how badly the Dems knock them around, to pull the lever for an R.
Nothing, nothing would make me change my vote either! My family may be stubborn, but I’m more stubborn. Nothing makes me shut up either. :) I am thinking PA will go for McCain. Although I want to see Murtha out on his bum too, I’m less sure of the ‘old folks vote’.

Hopefully the young or younger will be replacing that mindset. It’s a shame because in so many ways these people were the most country-first oriented. Now they’re old and afraid. And the Dems are only too happy to play on that.
