I can't agree. Rush said that if we can't prove it, we should give it up. But a negative can't be proven. We can't prove Obama has no American birth certificate. But his apparent inability to provide it indicates he can't prove that he does have one.
I think Rush meant that we can't make a conclusive case before the election, and that we should concentrate on issues that can be proven, such as Obama's terrorist, anti-American, racist, and antisemitic associations and beliefs. I see the logic to that, but if the conservative media had put significant pressure on Obama to address the birth certificate issue from the start, I believe they could have derailed his campaign by now. Just my opinion...
All the people I know vote democrat no matter what. They won’t be phased by what Murtha has said. When it comes time to choose they’ll just vote a straight Democrat ticket. ‘Republican’ is a dirty word in these parts. Unfortunately, I think Murtha will be re-elected. It’s the name and the (D).
