It's a crying shame ... I wish the kid had just decided to pee on the sign rather than steal it.
Most likely. The two live about 1500 feet apart.
There was a pizza restaurant (not a chain) that was giving a pizza for a McCain sign. I suggested that the local McCain/Palin print up thousands of signs and pass them out as pizza coupons to drive the owner into bankruptcy.
The really cool thing about an electric fence is that the charger causes it to pulse, meaning that he who touches it gets a series of jolts, instead of a single, long shock. Thus, it’s possible to get away from the thing and there’s little real danger of electrocution. Above all, if you plan to do this, DON’T JUST HOOK UP 110 VOLT AC TO THE FENCE. If you do, you run a significant risk of seriously injuring somebody and the accompanying horrible legal consequences.
Adults sending Children out to do their dirty work? How very MUSLIM like.
Oh Gawd.....Don't get me started!....lol
At least the boy didn’t try to urinate on the sign.
Captain Beefheart,is that you?
Don’t we get to see the video? I would enjoy that tremendously.
Some men can learn by watching, some men can learn by being told and some men just have to pee on the electric fence themselves.
“The kid should have been grounded for stealing. Oops! Too late.....”
Good one, I wish I had been clever enough to come up with that!
I think that is exactly what happened. How do you find out if Andrew Noble is a donor to the B.Hussein O. campaign?
In defense of the lame-assed lie/excuse,
the “sign” that the boy was carrying didn’t have the wire support in it... I didn’t know they gave them out that way.
Most likely, he was trying to steal the wire support.
At my MOST CHARITABLE - the boy was not properly trained. He should have been trained to go knock on the door and ask to look at their sign in order to see how to make a support for his own sign.
I actually saw recommendations like this on that thread last week. That was my first thought.
When I was a kid, I had a horse; I was riding the horse and the electric fence was lying on the ground; the horse urinated on it. I had the ride of my life; just like a rodeo rider.
Yeah, it does look like the kid was attempting to steal the wire...for his dad.
“Any parent who sides with his kid when he’s committing an anti-social act is raising a criminal”
How can you not side with the kid you sent to do the mischief? I wonder how the kid feels about being the fall-guy for his parents’ stupid prank...”Hey Mom(Dad), you gave me the sign, you told me to do it, you lied to the cop and I look like an idiot. Thanks”
When I was a kid his age every boy I knew his age had tried at least once to pee on an electric fence at the urging of an older boy who had already been initiated. You didn’t do it twice, but I’ll bet that kid will steal campaign signs again.
