uh, I think McCain will win. I was referring to the savior.
“Sunny and 65.”
Sounds rough. ;0)
Yes. If McCain wins PA then he wins VA. If he starts off the night with a win in NH, I think that will be a sign of good things to come.
He’s gaffing like Biden.
Just go to your FR search engine and type in Rendell.
To this I would add the Murtha commentary (he’s sweating his race out). Also, Catholic Bisohops have been making things very clear to the flock. Hugh Hewitt reported a 20% swing in Catholic voters over the weekend.
No, I don’t know where or how he gets those numbers. But I trust them more than Politico, TIME or Gallup.
If (when) McCuda wins PA and VA, it’s over for the Magic Messiah. NH would be extra sugar on the cherry on the cake.
Is it just me, or does anyone else feel a lot more positive about McCuda winning this thing?
I believe Pa and Va will deliver for McCain.
I have NH as blue?
It’d be nice.
There is also something of the electoral split up there in Maine. Electoral votes may be awarded by winning districts. It’s never happened before.
No matter where you are, get out and vote and get your friends out, too. It would be politically very cumbersome if McCain/Palin pulled out the electoral victory and came out on downside of the popular vote or a narrow win. Under such circumstance McCain would probably be asked to cede the victory to the People’s Party.
The libs are going to lay a torch to major metropolitan areas win, lose or draw ~ and no doubt the taxpayers will need to redistribute their money to cover the expense ~ So, it would be best to minimize the damage while getting the most popular votes!!
we are not allowed to feel.
Just keep remembering only those individuals who earn more than 250k, families who earn more than 200k, families that earn more than 150k, corporations that earn more than 100k, and individuals who earn more than 40k will be paying more taxes...
WE ARE IN DEPRESS THE TURNOUT ATTACKS!
Yeah well, I’ll survive.
I say bring it on... the scare tactics of the left and right are pathetic...
Time for Saxby’s big wake up call... everything will be just fine...
BWA-hahahahahah.
Pa is not a MUST Win state!!!
Fla Ohio Missouri and Virginia are.
“projecting electoral maps; I scored direct hits in 00 and 04. I got my clock cleaned in the congressional races of 06”
I had the exact same experience as you did on this. Luckily this isn’t anything like 2006 or 1996 when Bob Dole was unable to energize the base. It would be great to have PA as a kind of insurance policy in the event CO or VA don’t come around, but it would be surprising to me if McCain got PA and didn’t get VA too. I have a pretty good feeling about McCain’s chances in NH too despite the current polls from there. I’m not sure what to think about CO. It would be great to see some reports from on the ground in Colorado from the freepers living there.
Hugh got the Catholic swing from the IBD poll last Thursday.
Well, I sure hope that he makes it. I just don’t like to leave even the slightest opportunities for the libs to get in there and insert malfeasance and fraud into a situation.
Certainly, we don’t need wobbly conservatives in GA, but we definitely need a bulwark against a judiciary of tyrants if Obama gets in.
Beacause I had been dead on in previous elections I was cocky in 06. I read the tea leaves of state polls and simply shaved off 2 or 3 points to hit my targets. In 06 I think I got a little generous.
Hmm, that’s good news about NH. I originally had that as being maverick terrain and was kind of surprised when I saw Sununu slipping and Mac’s numbers going down.
NH has some of the same problems as VT (socialists) and I simply attributed Obie’s success on that. I should think that this would be a good place to remind people of the second ammendment?
Obamabots have been working No VA very hard and I am very concerned about it; registering voters in college towns, etc. Warner is going to beat Gilmore. He is very well liked and may have some reverse coattails.
If CO is close the Catholic swings may come into effect, but I don’t know if they can move the state to red. Bishop Chaput is possibly the strongest voice, maybe next to Burke.
I hope that more Catholics are coming around to Obama’s very radical views of abortion. I think the message is getting out there.
The Bishops have done a pretty good job, I think. “In the pew Cathoics” need to get in our fellow parishioners faces if they are half baked on the issue.
that’s right ~ those numbers are bound to continue trending up, as well.
is there a hewitt thread here at FR??
BTW FOLKS, in 2004 only 37% of provisional ballots counted.
reports are that a HUGE number of 2008 provisional ballots are in the pipeline.
The obama infomerical was about LOOKING like he was already in the white house and peopel were listening to him.
(think about the days after christ came back from the dead and was speaking to the disciples)
that is what we saw.
That is a powerful PSYCHOLOGICAL rather than substantive message. THe Medium is the MESSAGE.
also FNC just did a report saying ONLY 37% of provisional ballots were counted in 2004 in FL.
Current provisional ballots already in the pipeline.
Could not be bothered to watch last night.
Personally, and politically,...I can’t stand the guy!
