Communist Goal for America, #27:

Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”

Name one thing she has proposed that is the least bit theocratic.

Or does being a religious conservative disqualify one from the presidency, regardless of how one would govern?

Good. Find one. Don’t support her should she be the nominee. What a plan to advance Conservatism.

I guarantee she's going to have more than a few competitors.

Ok you are #2. That's the purpose of a primary is to select our candidate.

One thing the RNC better do is make it so only registered republicans can vote in our primary. If that was true this time John McCain wouldn't be our nominee. He's lucky Osama is such a socialist or I might not vote for him.

“...keep the religious right out of politics.”

Do you really mean that? Honestly?

The defections of liberal Republicans and the wails of Democrats are very real cries of pain. They know. They know that politics as usual for them is dead. There is an unknown element injected into the political scene and this unknown has drawn wild, enthusiastic support from the grass roots level around the country. The opposition is afraid... they should be. There is a renaissance occurring in America, a rebirth of the pioneer, the frontier, the legendary wild American spirit.

Awesome post thank you.

Here's something that God has granted me the wisdom to understand. You don't HAVE to propose anything, or even TALK about your faith to have someone say you're trying to "shove religion down my throat".

The discomfort they feel is THEIR OWN CONSCIENCE telling them that "hey, this guy/gal is trying to live the way you should be, get with it and repent". "The Law" is "written on their hearts", ie, everyone KNOWS what is right and wrong.

Rom 2:14-15
14 Those who aren't Jews do not have the law. Sometimes they just naturally do what the law requires. They are a law for themselves. This is true even though they don't have the law. 15 They show that what the law requires is written on their hearts. The way their minds judge them gives witness to that fact. Sometimes their thoughts find them guilty. At other times their thoughts find them not guilty.

You know what? You have me on ninety-eight percent.

Interesting. What, precisely, are the "two percent" that you disagree with? Please be specific. I've no desire to play guessing-games.

That's up to the individual states. The Republicans will have to push to make their primaries closed in all of them.

New Mexico already this way, but we have the weakest state republican party organization I have ever seen. In this general election a lot of Democrats will vote McCain but not enough to make a diffrence. If this state Rep. party would make an effort to recruit good candidates & then back them nationally with some money. They do have a good candidate running for senate, but the Democrats are pouring money at Tom Udall so I expect we will lose the senate seat. Republicans dropped the ball this election. That being said we voted McCain & Steve Pearce yesterday. Denco

The Old Media loves Republicans Against Sarah: George Will, Peggy Noonan, et cetera. They have bought their seat at the Old Media table, though the price is a horrible one for America.

I appreciate your responding. From what you said I need to be clear. I have never told anyone, including you, to get off of this site or to quit expressing themselves.

Whether one is qualified to be President or Vice President is a very subjective reality. It depends on a number of personal judgements one makes about idealology, vision, character, experience, values, ability and a myriad of other considerations.

In your opinion Sarah Palin is not qualified. I have a different take on qualified than most. I seek out people of outstanding character, (moral and otherwise), ones who are honest, and those who have applied knowledge in the past to the good of others in significant ways; those I would deam wise. Very few people meet those ideals and so I’m left with the realities of the imperfection of the possible candidates.

I happen to belong to the same religion the Mitt Romney belongs. So I know what it is like to be bashed on this site for ones religion. Having said that I still did not support Mitt because of certain things I felt went to the honesty factor.

Now , I really was not in favor of McCain because of his character flaws. However, I find him much better than the RAT side of the ballot!

As far as Sarah goes I like many of the things I have observed. She does have a good character, she appears to be honest. As far as the wisdom part goes I don’t know. She does have some unique qualities and experience, just not decades of it. However, she does love this country, supports our military, and I believe would never do anything purposely to harm this country. So I’ll give her a chance. She seems to be hitting her stride so in my subjective analysis will vote for her and hope she has skirttails to help several key congress representatives so we might help get this country out of its socilist leanings and back into “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”.

And it is intolerance like this for other churches that will lead to further winnowing of support from the Republican Party.

I have gone from being accused of being an atheist to being told that my church is invalid.

It is a shame that people here telegraph this message to potential voters.
