Obama kicked his career off in Ayer's living room. I think it is clear from Audacity of Hope that Obama selected his friends very carefully. Obama wanted to be tied to these dissidents. Obama even choose a wife who had never been proud of the good ol' U S of A. Heck, unless you were a follower of Saul Alinsky and Michael Klonsky, you had to feel pride when we beat Russia in Hockey. I don't care who you are.
Obama has never showed true love for his Country. He only does it now because he has too.
And he patterned his symbol after the Weathermen symbol, which Ayers has tattooed on his back. (the three rainbows)
