Obama kicked his career off in Ayer's living room. I think it is clear from Audacity of Hope that Obama selected his friends very carefully. Obama wanted to be tied to these dissidents. Obama even choose a wife who had never been proud of the good ol' U S of A. Heck, unless you were a follower of Saul Alinsky and Michael Klonsky, you had to feel pride when we beat Russia in Hockey.
