I am an Astros fan, and as such was really pulling for Lidge. And Bruntlett. good job guys, and congrats to the Phils. Also props to Charlie Manuel.
Man, that's for sure. For the past three years the people around here were laughing at Charlie and making fun of his thick West Virginia accent, and calling him names like "Elmer Befuddled" and "Charlie from Mayberry".
Now the guy is an un-fireable genius. He will be loved in Philly forever. Deservedly.
Charlie is truly an excellent manager.
