She thumbs her prayer beads and tells me that a Barack Obama victory would make the world a better place.
She said: "He seems like a truthful person and he has good policies."
She also happens to think, wrongly, that he's a Muslim.
Most of the Muslims here are pro-Obama. After all New York is a state that normally supports his Democratic Party.

Hey, I thought only old Christian women who were easily ridiculed in the media thought this.
If Barack Hussain Obama is telling the truth in his autobiography, he is a murtad fitri (an apostate Muslim). Islam has specific procedures to deal with the murtad fitri.
“Peace” can mean many things. To a Marxist it means “no dissent”, to an American it means “no violence (war)”, to a Muslim it means “submission to Islam”.
But, you must remember this is an American apostate muslim. Obama will be useful to them. Besides, he may indeed be a true muslim.
He doesn’t seem offended or dismayed when he is called the messiah. Most true Christians would be. Who knows what he really is...muslims lying to infidels or non-believers is not considered immoral or wrong.
Hah. The only people in the whole world who doubt the obvious are the western whorehouse press. They still believe the world is flat, too. Little Tommy Friedman said so and they believe it.
If he can convince the world that he’s a Christian, the Muslim world can get him in a hammerlock. The Koran spells out what is to be done with a murtad fitri, his world standing will be zip.
This opens the door to coercion of an international level.
Well, it will be interesting to see how this plays out. If you listen to the fundamentalist muslims overseas, especially the radicals, they think that most of the American muslims are apostates. I won’t even go into what they think of Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam crowd.
The non Muslim (riiight) will not be President.

13) The Media was calling the election for Kerry ELECTION MORNING in 2004, and Carter and Reagan polled evenly on election day! SOMEONE is trying to buffalo us with these polls! 20) Operation Chaos resulted in an overlarge quantity of Democrat registrations that will never ever vote Democratic.
21) Obama’s “spread the wealth” line to Joe the Plumber will cost him undecideds not ready to etch the current class structure in stone.
22) The Enemedia overstating Obama’s popularity will cut two ways. The lazy, and the youth, (core Democrat constituencies) will not brave traffic and lines to vote on election day, since they were lied to by the KGBMedia to believe that Obama has a gigantic lead. In fact, if I worked for the GOP, I’d make sure free beer/music parties were being held outside of every major blue city before/on election day. They’re called “raves”.
