Something that can be read (and photographed) from ACROSS THE STREET.Something with BIG BLOCK LETTERS, like:
Don’t forget the anti-Semitic angle. The LA Times is covering for anti-Semites. A big part of the LA Times dwindling circulation is Jewish.
WE HAVE NO RIGHT TO SEE OR READ THE FILTHY STATEMENTS OF RASHID
Khalidigate
Obamagate
Tapegate
“Spines for sale”
“Any journalists at LA Times?”
“Free the tape!”
“Tape OUT of LA Times”
“Do your job!”
“Shame on the LA Times”
EXCELLENT Rondog.
No sticks on the signs. The LAPD doesn’t like them.
Great ideas for text.

“It’s About Your
CREDITABILITY,
Stupid.”
CREDIBILITY > damn third-party spellchecker!
LA Times
Obama’s PET newspaper
America has a right
to see the tape
Also be sure to dress a couple people like kooky democrats and have them holding signs like...
Protect Obama! Don’t release the video!
Thank you LA Times...we need Obama more than the people need to know about him.
CALL THE TRIBUNE COMPANY IN CHICAGO THEY OWN LA TIMES
CALL SAM ZELL THE OWNER
GARBAGE PAPER COVERING FOR GARBAGE CANDIDATE
Run the Tapes!
Your effort is worthwhile and I encourage it — but the goal (realistically) should be to continue the public humiliation of the paper rather than expect that your efforts will get the tape before the election...
In order to credibly attack them — we need to seem ABSOLUTELY REASONABLE — angry and frustrated is ok — but tempered with reasonable arguments —
Ultimate success would be for a dispassionate observer to feel: " Hey, all these guys are asking for is more information and the LAT is stonewalling them -- what are they hiding?" For example — if you get any media coverage you might consider saying:
* If the LAT can't / won't release the tape:
How about releasing just the AUDIO?
How about just releasing a TRANSCRIPT of the audio?
Why not let a select group of 25 impartial journalists see the video and report on it themselves so that they can at least CORROBORATE your newspaper article?
Why should the electorate have to just “take the LAT’s word for it?”
Also — how many people within the LAT have already seen the video? Who are they and can we talk to all of them? If not — why not?
Box them into a corner where they seem to be refusing increasingly reasonable demands — and that will make it clear to EVERYONE what is really going on.
Good luck!
How about a Halloween-theme...
“CENSORSHIP is scary!”
Or pick-up a Paper Skeleton Decoration from a store and Label it:
“Khalidi Friendship” with a sign asking:
“Why is the LA TIMES hiding Obama’s Skeletons?”
GOOD LUCK, EVERYONE!!!!! JUST WATCH YOURSELVES, TAKE ALONG A CAMERA AND VIDEO RECORDER, AND DON’T WALK ALONE!!!!
DON’T FALL FOR ANY ‘BULL-BAITING’. STAY COOL! RECORD EVERYTHING!!!!! <3<3<3
